Dr. Seuss

I don’t remember my Momma reading Dr. Seuss to us kids, therefore he is not my favorite since I didn’t grow up with him like I did The Rainbow Fish, Madeline, and Stephanie’s Ponytail.

Friday was his birthday. My kids had to memorize a part of a Dr. Seuss book.  The whole second grade learned “There’s a Wocket in my Pocket.” Unfortunately, I had to take a sick day on Friday and couldn’t see them perform it with their cute little actions.

I do love this quote by Dr. Seuss…it’s true. We are weird and I love every bit of it!

“We’re all a little weird. And life is weird. And when we find someone
whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into
mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.”
