Get a pen and pencil out cause’ this one is a keeper.
Southern Living Pound Cake
4 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups sugar
1 pound butter (yes, that’s 4 sticks)
3/4 cup milk
3 tsp. vanilla
Let all your ingredients come to room temperature before starting! Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt pan. Add all the ingredients in order into your mixer bowl (at the same time). Beat on low speed for 1 minute. Then turn it up to medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into the pan. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes on a wire rack. Then take it out and enjoy!
*** I don’t know if i’ll ever make another poundcake now that I’ve got this recipe! It is so moist and easy!!
***I used fat free milk and it worked just fine!
